Ralph Glanzer, 93, Kimball, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, at his home in Kimball.
Ralph Glanzer, 93, Kimball, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, at his home in Kimball.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Kimball Protestant Parish. Burial will be in Kimball City Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral services at the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hickey Funeral Chapel, Chamberlain.
He was born on Dec. 24, 1916, in Bridgewater to Paul T. and Anna (Chetter) Glanzer.
He attended school in Kimball, graduating from Kimball High School.
He then attended Dr. Salsberry School of Poultry.
He married Ruby M. Bullis on Oct. 3, 1940.
They owed and operated Kimball Hatcheries for many years.
He is survived by his wife, three sons, Alan and wife Greer, Chamberlain; David and wife Cindy, Austin, Texas; and Dan, Kimball; a daughter, Paula Linquist and husband Eric, Shreveport, La.; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a daughter-in-law, Maureen Glanzer, Belle Fourche; and a sister, Evelyn Glanzer, Fresno, Calif..
He was preceded in death by a son, Mike; his parents, three brothers and a sister.
