Marjorie Hofer, 88, Freeman, died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, at Oakview Terrace.
Marjorie Hofer, 88, Freeman, died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, at Oakview Terrace.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Salem Mennonite Brethren Church, rural Bridgewater. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today at Walter Funeral Home, Freeman, with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m.
She married Sam A. Hofer in 1947.
He died in 1986.
She is survived by a daughter, Skyla Dowden and husband Brad, Freeman; four grandchildren, three greatgrandchildren, two brothers: Melvin Hofer and wife Emma; and Vernon Hofer and wife Norma, all of Freeman; and Merlin Hofer and wife Sylvia, Parkston.
