Lois Graff, Humboldt

Lois M. Graff, 82, Humboldt, died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2010, at Golden Living Center, Salem.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Humboldt. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 4:30 p.m. today at Kinzley Funeral Home, Salem. Visitation will resume at 6 p.m. today at the church with a 7 p.m. rosary followed by a prayer service.

She was born on May 31, 1928, in Iona, Minn., to Martin and Letha (Crabtree) Koob.

She attended and graduated from Flandreau High School.

On Sept. 10, 1946, she married Francis Graff and they lived in Humboldt for many years.

They moved to Schuyler, Neb. and then back to Humboldt in 1987.

She was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church and Altar Society. She also taught CCD for many years.

She is survived by her husband; three sons: Steve and wife Sue; Jerry and wife Colleen; and Mark, all of Humboldt; three daughters: Janice LaFond and husband Craig, Malta, Mont.; Lori Brink, Grand Island, Neb.; and Teresa Sidel and husband Marti, Hartford; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two daughters: Patricia Graff; and Suzette Boll; her parents; and three brothers: Vern, William and Robert Koob.
