Virginia Peiman, 77, Dallas, Texas, died Friday, May 28, 2010, at her home. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Armour. Visitation will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the church.
Virginia Peiman, 77, Dallas, Texas, died Friday, May 28, 2010, at her home.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Armour. Visitation will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Koehn Brothers Funeral Home, Armour.
She was born on Jan. 9, 1933, in Armour.
She graduated from Concordia University, Seward, Neb., with a degree in music and education.
On June 17, 1955, she married Donald Peiman.
She was an elementary teacher in Amarillo, Texas, from 1957 to 1961.
They moved to Rapid City in 1961.
She was an elementary teacher and gave private piano lessons until 1990, when they moved to Dallas.
She continued to give private piano lessons and was a member of Texas Music Teachers Association for another 16 years.
She is survived by her husband, two sons: Gregory, Dallas; and James and wife Mary Jo, Lincoln, Neb.; three grandchildren, a brother, Jerald Knodel and wife Jean, Yankton; and a sister, Shirley Dale, Savannah, Texas.
