John W. Hofer, 89, Bridgewater, died Monday, May 24, 2010, at his home.
John W. Hofer, 89, Bridgewater, died Monday, May 24, 2010, at his home.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Salem Mennonite Brethren Church, rural Bridgewater. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Thursday at Walter Funeral Home, Freeman, with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m.
He married Bernadine Hofer in 1949.
His wife died in 2004.
He is survived by a daughter, Marla Gilbert and husband Doug, Corsica; a grandson, and a sister, Ruth Gross and husband Vernon, Huron.
