Kenneth Chester Tuttle, 90, Witten, died Saturday, May 15, 2010.

Kenneth Chester Tuttle, 90, Witten, died Saturday, May 15, 2010.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church, Winner. Burial will be in Winner Cemetery, Winner. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Mason Funeral Home, Winner, with a 7 p.m. prayer service.

He was born on Feb. 25, 1920, at home east of Winner to Jesse E. and Bertha R. Tuttle.

He attended Winner High School.

After graduation he joined the U.S. Air Force.

On Jan. 21, 1945, he married Wanda Jean Williams.

They lived between Portland, Ore., and the Winner area most of their lives.

They lived in Basehor, Kan., for two years where he worked delivering milk for a dairy. He also worked as a gas station operator, jailor for the City of Winner, State of South Dakota Highway Department and the City of Winner Parks Department.

His wife died on Sept. 5, 1993.

On Feb. 14, 1994, he married Betty Lou Brave in Witten.

He is survived by his wife; his children: David D. and wife Mary; Judy L. Hanson and husband Jerry; Jeanne B. Stenson and husband Douglas; Susan K. Hauff and husband Edward; Robert D. and wife Lourdes; stepchildren: Clifford J. Brave and wife Lorri; and Steven L. Brave and wife Kristy; 24 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; a sister, Bernice E. Gustafson; two brothers: Clyde E. and William W.; and brothers- and sisters-in-law.

He was preceded in death by his first wife; a grandson; a stepson, Randy Brave; his parents; two brothers; Bernard and Harold; a sister, Beulah Salem and husband Harold; and numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law.
