Marjorie Lucille Wilson, 89, Mitchell, died Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital, Mitchell. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church, Mitchell. Burial will be in Servicemen’s Memorial Cemetery, Mitchell. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Bittner Funeral Chapel, Mitchell.

She was born on May 31, 1920, at Bijou Hills to John and Emma (Potter) Caldwell.
She grew up and attended school at Bijou Hills and graduated from Platte High School.
She attended nurse training at Methodist Hospital in Mitchell.
On July 19, 1942, she married Everett Wilson at Yuma, Ariz.
She worked at the B-24 bomber factory and operated a service station in California.
They returned to South Dakota following World War II and farmed southwest of Mitchell.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Ladies Aid and American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, four children: Paul and wife Barb, Black Hawk; Burt and wife Chris; and Teresa Wilson, all of Mitchell; and Joan Whittemore and husband Danny, Colorado Springs, Colo.; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a brother, John Caldwell and wife Rita, Great Falls, Mont.; two sisters: Eunice Bartekoske, Gregory; and Karleen Hushagen and husband Les, Pelican Rapids, Minn.
She was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.
