Lillian Delores Larson, 94, died Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010, at the Good Samaritan Center, Corsica.

Lillian Delores Larson, 94, died Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010, at the Good Samaritan Center, Corsica.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Christian Reformed Church, Corsica, with the Rev. Jerry Buwalda officiating.. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Corsica. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Koehn Brothers Funeral Home, Corsica-Armour.

She was born on Sept. 8, 1915, in Corsica to John W. and Susan (Stadt) DeVelder.

She graduated from Corsica High School in 1934. She then attended beauty school and worked as a beautician in Minnesota and Mitchell.

On Jan. 27, 1945, she married Herbert Larson in Seattle.

They lived in Longview, Wash., and Sioux Falls for a short while, but spent most of their life in Corsica, where they farmed.

She was a member of Christian Reformed Church.

She is survived by her husband, a daughter-in-law, Kathy Pettersen; two granddaughters, a great-granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by both her children: James L. and Linda; her parents, four sisters and a brother.
