Helen Marie Oistad, 84, Bishop, Calif., died Oct. 12, 2009.
Memorial services were held on Oct. 17, 2009, at Burnie Buck Funeral Chapel, Bishop.
She was born on April 11, 1925, in Blendon Township, Davison County, to Elmer and Maud (Stemler) Christopher.
She attended Bell School in Blendon until the family moved to the Los Angeles area in 1936.
She married Paul Boardman.
She later married Cy Oistad.
She is survived by four daughters: Diane, Barbara, Lori and Pamela; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and two sisters: Eleanor Martin, Orange, Calif.; and Delores Ranum, Valley City, N.D.
She was preceded in death by both her husbands, two brothers: Clifford and John Christopher; a sister, Norma Schwartzler; and an infant brother and sister.
