Raymond Henry “Ray” Wilson, 83, Las Vegas, died Friday, Feb. 27, 2009.
Memorial graveside services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2009, at Woodlawn Cemetery, Las Vegas.
Arrangements are under the direction of Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, Las Vegas.

Raymond Henry “Ray” Wilson, 83, Las Vegas, died Friday, Feb. 27, 2009.

Memorial graveside services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2009, at Woodlawn Cemetery, Las Vegas.

Arrangements are under the direction of Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, Las Vegas.

He was born on Nov. 28, 1925, at Letcher to William George and Annabelle (Cunningham) Wilson.

He moved to a farm near Spencer.

He served in the U.S. Navy for five years during World War II.

He retired from the Operating Engineers Local 12 in Las Vegas.

He is survived by his sons: Jerry and wife RoseAnn; and Rick, all of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a brother, Robert and wife Norma, Mitchell.

He was preceded in death by a son, Rodney; his parents and two sisters: LeNore Mahoney and Leota Nelson.
