Mitchell Technical Institute students throng the main corridor of the Campus Center building Thursday for the 19th annual MTI Job Fair. The event drew 71 employers and about 450 students, Career Services Coordinator Megan Mentzel said. “I’m ecstatic,” MTI President Greg Von Wald said. “This is what it’s all about. I’ll bet 25 percent of the students here will have had job interviews by the time this day is over.” Amy Preator, human resources director for SDN Communications, of Sioux Falls, said she planned to interview 30 students for multiple internships and full-time positions. “It’s great to be able to meet and interview a large number of students at one time,” she said. “It makes the process go a lot faster.” (Ross Dolan/Republic)
