Mitchell Police officers assess the damages following a two-car accident at the intersection of Burr Street and Norway Avenue around 11:15 a.m. Saturday. Officer John Badker with the Mitchell Police Division said Janice Morris, 71, of Sioux Falls, was driving southbound on Burr in a 2011 Chevy Malibu, and said because of slippery road conditions ran into a 2001 Oldsmobile Intrigue, driven by April Pulfrey, 19, of Mitchell, who was slowing for a red light at the intersection. Badker said Pulfrey was transported to Avera Queen of Peace hospital in Mitchell after complaining of neck and head pain, and Morris was cited for overdriving road conditions.
