Dakota Wesleyan University Director of Residence Life Terry Lundeen talks to students and family members participating in the 29th annual Randall Scholarship Day on Friday at the Sherman Center on DWU’s campus in Mitchell. The university asked 40 high school students from across the country who met the criteria for the scholarship to interview on campus, get more information about the university and have lunch. The top four candidates will be chosen by the end of February to receive the scholarship, which ranges from $10,000 to full tuition per year. The scholarship was started by Ron and Charlys Randall in memory of Ron’s father, F. Dwain “Doc” Randall, who started the Randall’s grocery stores. (Chris Huber/Republic)
