Wounded Knee art show


Artwork depicting artists’ interpretations of the Wounded Knee massacre and occupation are shown at The Center for Western Studies at Augustana College in Sioux Falls. The work is part of the first-of-its-kind art exhibit and show aimed at fostering reconciliation between Natives and non-Natives. “Interpretations of Wounded Knee 1973 and 1890” is being held through May 26.
