A group of women gathered at Cornerstone Coffee Saturday morning to put their stitching skills on display. Clockwise from right, Linda Farney, Cathy Kohlenberg, Marilyn Wilson, Judy Wenzel and Janice Johnson worked on cross stitching, embroidering and other stitching crafts. The women belong to a local chapter of The Embroiderer’s Guild of America called the Prairie Stitchers. The club meets twice a month, on the first Tuesday at the Congregational United Church of Christ Church at 7 p.m., and on the third Tuesday at Countryside Living Retirement Center at 1:30 p.m. (Anna Jauhola/Republic)
