The Mitchell Mustangs won the state VFW 12-and-under Class AA Minors Division baseball championship Sunday at Cadwell Park in Mitchell. The Mustangs went 5-0 in the three-day event. Team members include, front row, Sam Mock, Daniel Koupal, Spencer Neugebauer, Elijah Pommer, Briggs Havlik and Matt Muth. In the back row are coach Craig Mock, Parker Wenzel, Jed Schmidt, Carter Cavanaugh, Bailey Miller, Jacob Dahme and coach Jason Pommer. Coach Todd Cavanaugh is not pictured.
