Area high school basketball roundup 02/05/13: Mount Vernon/Plankinton tops Parkston

PARKTON — Mount Vernon/Plankinton had three players score 20 or more points in a 74-62 win over Parkston Friday in boys’ high school basketball action. Jared Long had 24 points, Deric Denning finished with 23 points and Kellam Karst had 20 points for the Titans.
