Young leads Kernels past Scoopers

The Corn Palace crowd was anticipating a record falling Friday night. Mitchell’s Kerri Young had 20 points by halftime, but finished 11 points shy of breaking the school’s career-scoring record in girls’ basketball in a 72-33 win over Sturgis at the Corn Palace.
