Rapid City lawmaker, top leader could be kicked off ballot

SIOUX FALLS (AP) — A judge has ordered South Dakota Secretary of State Jason Gant to justify why a Republican leader in the state House should stay on the November ballot despite questions over the legality of his candidacy.
