Corsica places third at teener state tourney

PLATTE — Corsica downed Flandreau 5-1 in the third- and fourth-place matchup at the Class B VFW teener baseball tournament Sunday in Platte. Allen Muilenburg didn’t allow an earned run in a complete-game win on the mound. He struck out 10 and allowed one hit without walking a batter.
