Area woman dies when vehicle crashes into water

A rural Mitchell woman died when her car plunged into a pool outside Cabela’s in Mitchell Thursday. Jane Virginia Strong, 61, apparently lost control and drove off Spruce Street by Cabela’s and crashed into the nearby pond shortly after 3 p.m. The cause of the crash was undetermined Thursday night.
