Volunteers processing historic photo collection

DEADWOOD — Roughly two years after the estimated 800,000-image, Fassbender photo collection was purchased by the cities of Lead, Deadwood and Spearfish for $300,000, the board of directors of the Fassbender Photographic Collection, Inc., have a plan and every Wednesday, they’re working it.
