Corsica earns trip to Legion state tourney

CORSICA — Aaron Groeneweg went 3-for-5 and scored the go-ahead run in the seventh inning to help lead Corsica to a 3-2 victory over Platte-Geddes in the Region 4B Legion baseball championship game Sunday in Corsica. The win earned Corsica a spot in the state tournament.
