MV/P/W tops Parkston in Class B divisional playoff game

PARKSTON — Deric Denning recorded three hits at the plate and pitched a complete-game four-hitter to help the Mount Vernon/Plankinton/Woonsocket high school baseball team defeat Parkston 12-2 in six innings Friday in the Region 1B West championship game.
