Large hog operation part of county planners’ agenda for Tuesday meeting

The Davison County Planning and Zoning Commission will consider a busy agenda when it meets at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday in the Commissioners’ Room at the courthouse, 200 E. Fourth Ave., Mitchell. The commissioners will consider an application from Jackrabbit Family Farms for a conditional use permit to operate a 3,088 animal-unit swine production facility in the southeast quarter of Section 8 in Baker Township.
