JOHNSON: Rhetoric on rising gas prices ignores reality

Gas and diesel prices have been rising quickly in recent months, and that has led some in Washington to rush to place blame and score political points. In truth, the reasons for the increases we are seeing at the pump are complex, with tremendous implications for consumers’ pocketbooks and our economy.
