Corsica/Stickney tops Christian in 10B
The Mitchell Christian girls’ basketball team fell to the Corsica/Stickney Jaguars 65-47 in a girls’ District 10B semifinal game Friday at the Corn Palace. Mitchell Christian’s Becca Glanzer opened the game with a banked 3-point shot, and after that it was back and forth between the Jaguars and Eagles. With about a minute left in the first quarter, the Eagles went on a 6-0 run and hit a 3-point buzzer-beater from Khiree Held, which gave MCHS a 13-7 lead.By: Claire Meador, The Daily Republic
