WOSTER: Alone on Halloween - Facing kids no easy task without a wife

I married a fine person. For a long while I thought if I outlived her — which seems doubtful — there would be consolation in being able to say, “This is the only unkind thing she ever did.” That was before Monday evening, when she treated me so shabbily I’m still trying to come to grips with it.
