Hanson County citizen group appeals dairy permit

ALEXANDRIA — A group of citizens has filed two legal actions in an attempt to prevent the creation of a large-scale dairy operation in Hanson County. The Concerned Citizens of Hanson County, through its attorney R. Shawn Tornow, of Sioux Falls, has filed an appeal regarding a water permit for the proposed Hanson County Dairy, which is spearheaded by Michael Crinion, of Brookings.
