To the Editor:
Hanson County voters need to be involved in the decisions that will affect our community. They need to be aware of efforts to bring in a 7,000-plus head dairy facility six miles north of Alexandria. The dairy wants $1,100,000 of road upgrades that will basically benefit only the dairy. It would take about 14 years of all anticipated new taxes to pay for the upgrades and it will need repairing before it is paid off. That is, if they remain in business.
