Governor makes appeal to FEMA for individual aid

PIERRE — Gov. Dennis Daugaard sent a letter to the Federal Emergency Management Agency on Thursday, appealing FEMA’s decision to reject individual assistance for South Dakota homes and businesses that were damaged or destroyed due to flooding.
