Local man sentenced to 20 years in state pen
A Mitchell man who pleaded guilty to what Davison County State’s Attorney Pat Smith called a “crime spree” is heading to prison. Randy Scott Wolford was sentenced Tuesday at the Davison County Public Safety Center to serve nearly 20 years in the state peni-tentiary for five burglary charges in Davison County and one in Aurora. Judge Sean O’Brien gave Wolford a five-year sentence for each charge but suspended a year of each. The Aurora County sentence will run concurrent with the sentences stemming from Davison County.By: Austin Kaus, The Daily Republic
