Population jumps 151 percent in Springfield? Some skeptical of census data

Two South Dakota towns that saw increases in their populations according to the 2010 census don’t put a lot of stock in the figures.
Springfield’s population increased 151 percent — at least officially.
The town had 792 residents according to the 2000 Census. It jumped to 1,989 in 2010, according to the latest count.
