Fundraising under way for ImpactLives event

Fundraising is under way for this year’s ImpactLives food-packing event at the Corn Palace in Mitchell, where organizers hope to raise their three-year total to 1 million meals packed. The goal for this year’s event May 7 is 340,000 meals, according to organizer Deb Weitala. To make that happen, about $80,000 in funding is needed.
