Local residents urged by FEMA officials to prepare for 'flood fight'
Federal Emergency Management Agency official said Friday that there is a 98 percent chance of minor to moderate flooding this spring on the James River, with at least a 50 percent chance of major flooding. Matt Buddie, National Flood Insurance Program specialist with FEMA in Denver, urged local officials and residents to be prepared.By: Melanie Brandert, The Daily Republic
