Longtime SDSU president Wagner dies at 78

Robert Wagner taught thousands of South Dakota State University students before he guided the state’s largest university for more than a decade.
Wagner, a preacher, professor and college administrator, died Monday. He was 78. He served as SDSU’s president from 1985-1997.
