Area basketball roundup: Fink’s big game leads TDA to victory

ARMOUR — Tripp-Delmont/Armour’s Adam Fink posted a 15-point, 14-assist performance in an 88-60 win over Woonsocket in a high school boys’ basketball game Thursday night. Fink, a junior point guard for the Nighthawks, helped spread the wealth as TDA shot 64 percent (40-of-63) from the floor as a team. Woonsocket shot 44 percent (21-of-48). Cody Dozark had 22 points, Jared Hermanek had 18 points and eight rebounds and Josh Nichols chipped in 11 points for TDA, which improved to 6-1 and is at Platte to face Platte-Geddes in a girls-boys doubleheader tonight. The Redmen were led by Eric Warkenthien’s 28 points and eight rebounds. Justin Davis added 16 points and Davion Brooks chipped in 10 for Woonsocket, which is 4-3 and faces Sunshine Bible Academy in a 281 Conference tournament Saturday in Huron.
