Salvation Army seeks donations to meet goal

The local Salvation Army has raised $76,063 of its $105,500 holiday fundraising goal, according to Maj. Linda Jones.
Jones said the total includes money dropped into kettles at bell-ringing locations, plus money raised through a mailing campaign. Also, $2,598 was raised by a Campbell’s Supply toy auction and $19,700 was raised by a three-day KMIT/KOOL98 radiothon. Additionally, an offering was taken up Wednesday at an allservice-club luncheon.
