Local United Way meets goal

For the 30th year in a row, the United Way reached their fundraising goal. But, as is often the case, it came down to the final days. Mitchell United Way vice president Terry Torgerson and treasurer Ryan Huber unfurled a banner to reveal the organization had raised $450,096 for the year, meeting the 2010 fundraising goal of $450,000.
