Change your clocks, check smoke alarms To the Editor: The Mitchell Fire Division has a simple but powerful reminder for all members of our community this weekend. When you change your clocks for daylight-saving time, change and test the batteries in your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors, and please remind your friends, family and neighbors to do the same.
