Study finds many S.D. coaches double as trainers, though many lack training

This fall, Mitchell High School began using a computer program to help manage athletes’ concussions. The program is called ImPACT, or Immediate Post-Concussion Assessment and Cognitive Testing. “That’s a great resource,” said Clayton Gropper, the school’s head athletic trainer for the past nine years.
