South Dakota reports first lab-confirmed influenza of season

PIERRE, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Health today reported the state's first laboratory-confirmed influenza case of the 2010-2011 season, a Todd County resident in the 0 through 9 age group. The child had influenza B and was not hospitalized.
