There's no place like Grandma's and a movie

When our Brookings granddaughter was a little girl, a visit to Pierre was incomplete without two or three viewings of “The Wizard of Oz.” She has been staying with us — on long weekends or sometimes for most of a week when her parents traveled — since she was too young to walk. She developed many, many routines with Nancy and me during her visits, and one of those involved quality time with Dorothy Gale and the zany gang who skipped their way down the Yellow Brick Road to Oz.
