The three Republicans have focused much of their campaigns on criticizing President Obama and Congress for driving up the national debt. Secretary of State Chris Nelson, state Rep. Kristi Noem of Castlewood face each other in the June 8 primary, with the winner to square off against Herseth Sandlin in the fall election for South Dakota’s lone seat in the U.S. House.

PIERRE — Rep.
