Schmidt has big day at national tourney

Jason Schmidt celebrated his 21st birthday in style Tuesday. The Mitchell native hit a grand slam and just missed hitting for the cycle in Mount Marty’s first game of the day in Lubbock, Texas, where the Lancers were playing in the NAIA national tournament.
