Greenways win ESD titles

PIERRE — Mitchell sophomores Justin and Jason Greenway shined bright at the Eastern South Dakota Conference track and field meet Saturday in Pierre. The twin brothers combined for three individual conference championships to lead the Kernels’ boys to a seventh-place team finish out of eight teams. Mitchell finished with 53 team points, just four points behind fifth-place finishers Brookings and Aberdeen Central. Watertown won the team competition with 154 points, Pierre took second with 108, Brandon Valley was third with 81 and Yankton was fourth with 77. Huron took eighth with 2 points.
