Mad Dogs get walk-off homer for win

The Mitchell Mad Dogs defeated Dimock/Emery in a Sunshine League amateur baseball game Sunday at Cadwell Park. Brett Young hit a walk-off homer in the bottom of the 11th inning to give Mitchell a season-opening, 7-6 win. Young started for the Mad Dogs, throwing six innings and giving up three runs. Jason Skinner picked up the win.
