Area storms spark tornado warnings

On the sixth anniversary of “Tornado Tuesday,” fast-moving thunderstorms spawned tornado warnings Wednesday as they moved through the area on two fronts.
The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning at 8:47 p.m. as the storms took a northwest-to-southeast line through Sanborn and western Miner counties to the east. As of 11 p.m., no injuries had been reported from the storms.
