The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning at 8:47 p.m. as the storms took a northwest-to-southeast line through Sanborn and western Miner counties to the east. As of 11 p.m., no injuries had been reported from the storms.
Area storms spark tornado warnings
On the sixth anniversary of “Tornado Tuesday,” fast-moving thunderstorms spawned tornado warnings Wednesday as they moved through the area on two fronts.The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning at 8:47 p.m. as the storms took a northwest-to-southeast line through Sanborn and western Miner counties to the east.
