One in 13 Davison residents use food stamps
About one out of every 13 people in Davison County uses food stamps, according to the Department of Social Services.Though the ratio isn’t as high as Buffalo County’s, where more than 25 percent of the population relies on the program, other numbers make it clear that the amount of people qualifying for and receiving food stamps is on the rise.
