Our View: Depression references insulting

All this talk about the Great Depression is depressing indeed.
It happened again Wednesday, when United Auto Workers voted overwhelmingly to make concessions to American automakers, fearing that failure to do so could lead to another American depression.
Many times over the past few months, memories of the Great Depression have been used to invoke emphasis on the nation’s faltering economy.
